The property is zoned Business-Local which allows for the proposed use of a barber shop as a principal permitted use. The site has existed with the same layout since the early 1980s and has functioned primarily as a convenience store.

To approve the proposed site plan and to allow a modification of the minimum parking space size requirements in order to accommodate the 9 ft by 17.5 ft parking spaces shown on the plan along the perimeter of the parking lot.
